KASHYAP: impulse frequency descaler
The continuous casting machine (CCM) is subjected to 2,192°F (1,200°C) and a large amount of mineral scale would build-up in the equipment causing continuous production delays. Now that the Kashyap-250 model has been installed, the factory no longer experiences production loss or delays caused by having to manually remove excessive mineral scale deposits.

We, Rathi Iron and steel Industries Ltd. SMS (Moira Sariya) Pithampur, would hereby like to certify, that we have purchased and installed the Kashyap anti-scale at our plant. The model K-250 was a customized model for our CCM (Continuous Casting Machine) Primary Cooling System. We have made some highly beneficial observations since the system was installed and it satisfies all our objectives perfectly and that too within a short period of 6-8 weeks after installation.
Earlier we used to use RO water with anti scalant chemicals to control the fine film formation on caster mould tubes during the cooling process and it could be removed only by heavy scrubbing and acid washing. The process to remove the coating and to start the CCM again took around 25 minutes. Every 30 cycle of the casting process, coating deposits on the mould and it needs to be cleaned and scrubbed. One cycle is for one hour casting.
After installing Kashyap Anti Scale System we could stop the anti-scale chemicals dosage and the scrubbing / cleaning process was required only after 200 cycles. Kashyap anti scale system saved our shit down process timing and the recurring anti-scale chemical costs.
We are very happy with these results and the effectiveness of the product and consider this as a very important and useful technology for our industry.
